Captured by Jesse Liz - a Utah Wedding + Elopement Photographer

There are some love stories that are meant to unfold on the water—this was one of them.

As a Utah elopement photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing weddings in some of the most stunning locations in the West. This lakeside elopement on Flathead Lake, just outside Glacier National Park, was an absolute dream. Hosted at Saddlehorn Marina, this intimate boat ceremony was full of laughter, color, and quiet, meaningful moments.

A Romantic Elopement at Saddlehorn Marina

Nestled in northwest Montana, Saddlehorn Marina offers the perfect blend of serenity and scenic beauty. For couples dreaming of a Montana destination elopement, this location is everything. Picture crystal-clear waters, a soft mountain breeze, and an intimate setting where your love story takes center stage.

This couple chose to exchange vows on a private boat covered in lush, vibrant florals with the deep blues of Flathead Lake all around them. The moment they leaned in to kiss, framed by colorful flowers and sunshine, it felt like something out of a movie.

Elopement Details That Made the Day Unforgettable

The bride stunned in a short white lace dress and delicate veil, keeping it effortlessly chic and perfect for a lakeside wedding. Her bouquet exploded with color—blues, corals, yellows, and creamy whites—giving the whole scene a whimsical, wildflower feel.

The groom opted for a relaxed look with a cream button-down shirt and neutral shorts, which perfectly matched the laid-back lake vibe. Everything about their styling told a story of adventure, joy, and authentic connection.
